So today I went to my aunt’s house for dinner and I was hanging out with my little cousin and watching TV. She’s in 6th grade and we were watching this show called icarly. According to my little cousin its this “new show and it is so funny”. So the basic plot is this girl(Carly) and her friend have this webcast and they are always concentrating on how they can get more viewers and how to make their show better. Its very simple, its for kids but what I found really interesting is that they show part of their webcast and the TV show focuses more on the behind the scenes but the disney channel has the webcast on the icarly site. So while we were watching the show my cousin was showing me the webcasts. I thought that this was a great way to combine TV and web and a great way to keep kids interacting and involved with the show.
